Today marks a special milestone for So So Spiffy—our 7-year anniversary! It all began with a single home on Glencoe Drive. Our owner, Barbara took all the furniture out of her home and staged a listing for Ray and Poynor Properties. After 15 trips in a small SUV, BAM! The listing sold well over asking price, and the rest is staging history.
Fast forward seven years, and we’ve expanded our operation to Austin, Texas, and even developed our own furniture line. What a journey it’s been! We’ve had our fair share of fun and learned a lot along the way. Here are five things we’ve discovered:

We spend a lot of time with our customers as they scroll through their photos, looking for that one picture of the room they want us to design. Along the way, we get to see their grandchildren, their dog, and a few holiday snapshots!

We’ve had a lot of fun at our events, and the margaritas at our Shopping Shindig are in a league of their own. Cheers to good times and a free drink!
Birmingham Is Hot, but Austin May Be Hotter
If Birmingham is 96 degrees with 60% humidity, then Austin is 106 degrees with 40% humidity. It’s a tough call between the two cities when it comes to the heat!
