When creativity runs in the family, magic happens.
Barbara Cooney, the visionary behind So So Spiffy Staging & Design, joined forces with her daughter, Banks, founder and owner of Haus of B Pilates, to bring to life a space that perfectly reflects Banks’ calm yet inspiring energy.
This wasn’t just another project for Barbara—it was a labor of love. Working with her daughter meant every detail carried personal meaning, from the colors on the walls to the textures in the fabrics. “It’s not every day you get to design for someone who knows you inside and out,” Barbara shares. “Banks had a vision that was serene but not sterile—organic, modern, and full of soul—and our team loved helping her realize that.”
The Haus of B Pilates studio captures exactly that: a thoughtful blend of softness and strength. Ethereal cloud murals float across the walls, echoing tranquility. Gentle drapery adds movement and warmth. The palette of muted blues, creams, and taupes feels both grounding and elevated—just like the energy Banks brings to her practice.

For Banks, working with her mom’s firm made the process deeply special. “It was surreal watching my mom and her team turn my dream into something tangible,” she says. “Every choice felt intentional—nothing forced or overly designed. It just fit.”
At So So Spiffy, this level of intuition is what sets their design apart. The firm is known for its ability to capture a client’s essence and translate it into physical space—whether that’s staging an architectural home, transforming a quirky layout, or collaborating on a deeply personal project like this one.

The result? A Pilates studio that feels as effortless as the flow of movement it was designed for—and a reminder that when creativity is shared between generations, design becomes more than aesthetic. It becomes legacy.
